Nutrition
The welfare of our cattle is paramount. At Kinger Cattle, we believe a strong foundation begins with the animal’s nutrition. From birth to weaning and beyond, we pride ourselves on intentionally developing our cattle at a pace that supports and mimics their natural growth cycle. Our feed program was developed in consultation with Oregon State University Extension Service to minimize carcass fluctuations in our bulls before, during and after breeding seasons, while supporting their longevity. We recognize the investment each customer makes when purchasing a bull or female, and we honor that commitment by investing in feed that reflects the diet they will likely receive at their future home: alfalfa and grass hay.
